About

Hello, my name is Molly Eatherly.

I'm an early-20s millennial who's decided to uproot from the U.S. to jet set around the world with a program called Remote Year. I will be joining 80 other digital nomads on the adventure of a lifetime to explore 3 continents and 10 countries in 12 months. More on that, here.

I currently work in Business Development for a global Clinical Research Organization doing market research and prospecting in the pharma/biotech industry. I truly love what I do, which not many people can say.

My role models include Maria from the Sound of Music and Elle Woods- fictional characters, but inspiring nonetheless (I guess Maria von Trapp was a real person). I like the smell of coconut and sunscreen, aka I would wear coconut scented sunscreen as perfume. I could probably live off of eggs for the rest of my life if I had to: eggs benedict, hard boiled eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, egg salad, egg-in-the-middle-of-toast (where you cut out the middle of a slice of bread and break an egg into it), and so on and so forth. My favorite TV shows include Grey's Anatomy (seasons 1-9 only, McDreamy is still alive and well in my book) and the OG Twilight Zone from the 1960s.

Music is my boyfriend. ODESZA and Flume were jumping off points for my current taste. If I could marry Harley Streten, I would.

I hope to document this wild social experiment that is Remote Year, and all the fun along the way for friends, family, and future RY participants. Enjoy.
