This past week (my last full week here) has certainly influenced how I feel about Bogotá. In Mexico I did a ton of activities that got me out of the house and deep into Mexican life and culture. Of course, my getting sick did hinder my desire to explore towards the beginning of this month, but I recovered it after this weekend.
So I had a completely different post already drafted, but it's February 14th (dreaded for all us singles) and I felt it necessary to share what I was lucky to be a part of today.
I'm a day late with my two cents, lo siento. I got busy doing actual activities yesterday since I was sick AGAIN over the weekend. Still unsure of the culprit. Altitude? Food?
I'm 2 for 2 for getting sick during the first week of each new city. Had quite a reaction to the altitude (severe fatigue and just not feeling myself), then enter sketchy empanada and chugging pepto bismol all night long like it was the elixir of life.
